Critical Buildings

Construction Yard

The construction yard is the main building of your base. When it gets destroyed, your base will be destroyed. Therefore, it is important to protect it at all times. Place it in the safest position in your base, ideally on the left side.

It serves as a resource storage as the more higher the level, the more resources it can store.

His level also determine the number of buildings your base can receive. The maxmimum number of buildings is 40 and is reached when your construction yard is at level 25.

But it does not mean you can't level it up higher. The higher the level, the more resources it can store and the more resistant it is against attacks.

Command Center

The command center is another very important building. It is the main building of your army. When it gets hit, you will not be able to attack anymore. Therefore, it is important to protect it when you are in a battle. Place it in a safe position in your base.

His level determine the number of troops you can have in your army. The maximum number of troop points is 200 and is reached when your command center is at level 28. Also, you will not be able to levvel you troops higher than the level of your command center.

Defense HQ

The defense HQ is not a critical building. His main role is to determine the number of defense points you can have in your base.

Getting it hit or destroyed will not affect your ability to attack or defend.

The maximum number of defense points is 300 and is reached when your defense HQ is at level 28. Also, you will not be able to levvel you defense units higher than the level of your defense HQ.

Defence Facility

The defence facility is a critical building. His role is to repair your defense when you get attacked.

You need to get it at least at the same level as your highest defense unit. If you don't do it, your defense units will not be repaired efficiently and you will get weaker very fast.

When you Defense Facility gets hit, it directly affects your defense reparation efficiency. If it gets destroyed, your defense will not be repaired at all.

Therefore, it is important to protect it when you are in a battle. Place it in a safe position in your base. This is the second most important building after the construction yard.

Support Weapon

The support weapon is a critical building. It protects you and your mates when we get attacked. You need to get it to the same level as the troops who are attacking you. You will find more information in the PvP tutorial.

Repair Buildings

The repair buildings are critical buildings. Their role is to repair your troops after your attacks.

Their level determine the maximum repair time needed to repair your troops at 100%. The highest repair time of the 3 repair buildings determine the maximum repair time needed to repair your troops at 100%.

So, it is important to have level them in order to have low repair times for all your units. For exemple, if your army have lot of aircraft, you'll prioritize to level the airport of the other ones.

Hand of NOD / Barracks

His role is to repair your infantry troops after your attacks. His level determines how much repair time is needed to repair your infantry troops at 100%. When it gets hit, it directly affects your infantry reparation maximum percentage. If it gets destroyed, your infantry will not be repaired at all.

War Factory / Factory

His role is to repair your vehicles after your attacks. His level determines how much repair time is needed to repair your vehicles at 100%. When it gets hit, it directly affects your vehicles reparation maximum percentage. If it gets destroyed, your vehicles will not be repaired at all.

Airport / Airfield

His role is to repair your aircraft after your attacks. His level determines how much repair time is needed to repair your aircraft at 100%. When it gets hit, it directly affects your aircraft reparation maximum percentage. If it gets destroyed, your aircraft will not be repaired at all.

Production Buildings

Harvester

Harvesters needs to be placed on Tiberium or Crystal fields. They are producing Tiberium or Crystal resource packages that can be collected.

The packages production will be stopped while you are in move recovery, this is why we are never focusing on packages production. You can keep these harvesters at a low level, almost all the time.

The most important thing about harvesters is to connect them to high level silos.

Silo

Silos are used to store resources and they are responsible of the continuous production of Tiberium/Crystal. When they are connected to harvesters, their are generating continuous production of resources they are connected to.

The more harvesters are connected to a silo, the more resources it can produce. When you search for a layout, you usually search for a layout that allow you to connecte at lear a silo to 1*5 harvesters or more.

Power Plant

Power plants are producing power packages that can be collected.

The packages production will be stopped while you are in move recovery, this is why we are never focusing on packages production. You can keep these power plants at a low level, almost all the time.

The most important thing about power plants is to connect them to high level accumulators.

Accumulator

Accumulators are used to store power and they are responsible of the continuous production of power. When they are connected to power plants, their are generating continuous production of power for the amount of power plants they are connected to.

The more power plants are connected to an accumulator, the more power it can produce. When you search for a layout, you usually search for a layout that allow you to connect at least 3 accumulators to 1*8 power plants or more.

Refinery

Refineries are used to generate credits packages that can be collected. The credits case is a little bit different from the other resources.

There is 2 types of continuous production for credits:

  • The continuous production generated by connecting a refinery to a tiberium field
  • The continuous production generated by connecting a power plant to a refinery

When you are connecting a refinery to a tiberium field, the level of the refinery determine the continuous production generated. When you are connecting a power plant to a refinery, the level of the power plant determine the continuous production generated.

Therefore, you may need to get high level refineries and power plants to have a high continuous production of credits.
